    Controlling and participating in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and machinery on board;

    Performing technical supervision of the installation, maintenance and repair of ship machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations;

    Coordinating tests on equipment and diagnosing faults;
  • 04
    Applying knowledge of principles and practices relating to ship machinery and equipment in order to identify and solve problems arising in the course of their work;

    Inspecting and conducting maintenance and emergency repairs to engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment;

    Watching over engine room, monitoring and noting performance of engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment;

    Maintaining records of operation of engineering department;

    Performing related tasks; and

    Enhancing knowledge and coordinating work performance.
