- 01Taking safety precautions such as monitoring dive lengths and depths, and registering with authorities before diving expeditions begin;
- 02Inspecting and maintaining diving equipment such as helmets, masks, air tanks, diving suits, harnesses and gauges;
- 03Working underwater to lay and repair bridges, piers and harbour wall foundations;
- 04Inspecting for suspected damage and making minor repairs to ship hulls and underwater installations;
- 05Reporting on condition of wrecked ships;
- 06Removing underwater obstructions;
- 07Drilling holes for underwater blasting;
- 08Performing various underwater tasks connected with rescue or search for bodies;
- 09Communicating with workers on the surface, while under water, using the signal or telephone lines;
